Billie Joe Armstrong Enters Rehab Following Losing His Shit at Huge Corporate Festival
This past weekend saw the media giant Clear Channel give birth to the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among acts such as Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Lil Wayne, Pitbull and Brad Paisley, Green Day squeezed in (and some might say fit in quite nicely). Well, it looks like the commoditization of punk rock has finally bit Green Day in the ass. Watch what happens as they get preempted with a performance by Rhianna and Usher.
UPDATE: According to the band's Facebook page, the whole debacle was due to Billie Joe's substance abuse problem rather than playing a douche-y festival. See for yourself:
